We are Vera and Daniel Calcines, founders and organizers of Casa Tango Edmonton.  We believe that Argentine tango is a social dance that virtually anyone can learn, independent of previous experience, age and physique.

Tango is improvisational and natural, rooted in the traditional style of Buenos Aires Milongas. It is danced primarily in a close embrace, with simplicity yet elegance, within the music and a total focus on one's partner.

Casa Tango Edmonton is dedicated to promoting Argentine Tango in the Edmonton area by organizing milongas, practicas and lessons. We also host outstanding visiting teachers who conduct valuable workshops throughout the year. • New session for absolute beginners starts on Wednesday February 22nd.  Please visit our Lessons session for details on how to register for Tango Basics 1.
  

• Level 2 lessons and practicas  continue on Tuesdays (feel free to drop-in).

• Join us for February Orange Hall Valentine milonga (social dance party) on Saturday, Feb. 11th.  See Milongas link for details.

• Second Cup milonguita for the month of February:   February 3rd and 24th.  Free admission and includes all level lesson.
